Location: Nairobi - Kenya

Applicant should have solid retail training experience. From groceries, clothing to furniture. minimum of 4-5 years of training experience in a managerial position and/or as a training manager. A proven track record in delivering soft skills training sessions is a must. Having worked in a sales environment is an advantage.
He must have preferably an academic background. The company buy the various courses “Edutel”that they required but the problem they dealing with is the application.
They will need someone – who can set up the whole program and ideally develop courses suitable for their application. He/she can then train one person to eventually run the whole setup . They need to get the fundamentals of retail in place in our stores, so there is a degree of uniformity.
The companies thoughts are to institute a training program, starting with cashiers, packers, then sales floor, supervisory skills and on. They would like to have a person that the trainer can develop, to eventually take over the process. They have a training room, we need hands on, effective management of the program. Hopefully the person we require, would have the training modules, or the ability to develop such.
The same package could be offered, but probably for a shorter period and then to work in future on a consultative basis.
